About this print
Columbus map poster
Columbus sits on the east bank of the Chattahoochee River, where western Georgia meets Alabama. The river shaped the city from the start. Columbus grew up at the fall line, where the water drops and quickens, and the riverfront is still where much of the city's life gathers. This poster captures Columbus as a street map, a portrait of the place drawn from the grid and curves of the roads people actually use every day, from older downtown blocks to the neighborhoods spreading out from the river.
The Blueprint edition presents the city in a clean, technical visual style that suits a map of streets and blocks. It feels a little like an architect's sheet or an engineer's plan, calm and orderly, and it lets the shape of Columbus carry the design. That restraint makes it easy to live with on a wall, whether in a home office, a hallway, or a living room where it can sit beside other art without competing for attention. Like every RadMaps print, it is produced digitally and meant as decorative art rather than a navigation aid.
For anyone who grew up in Columbus, moved away from it, or has recently made it home, a map of the city can hold a lot of personal history in a quiet way: the routes to school or work, the drives along the river, the streets where friends lived. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone with ties to the Chattahoochee Valley, a reminder of a particular place on the Georgia–Alabama line. The available options are listed on this page.
