About this print
Eugene map poster
Eugene sits at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, where the Willamette River bends through town and the Coast Range and Cascades frame the horizon on either side. It is a city shaped by water and green space, with riverside paths, wooded buttes and neighborhoods that run right up to the edge of the hills. Spencer Butte rises to the south and Skinner Butte stands closer to downtown, and both are familiar landmarks for anyone who has spent time here.
The city is also home to the University of Oregon, and with it a long running tradition that earned Eugene the nickname Track Town USA. Hayward Field has hosted generations of runners, and the trails along the river carry that culture into everyday life, from early morning joggers to cyclists heading across the footbridges. Add the farmers markets, the coffee shops, and a strong streak of independent spirit, and Eugene has a character that people tend to carry with them long after they leave.
This print presents Eugene's street map in the Painted Survey style, a soft, textured look that suits a place known for its trees, rain and river light. It works as a reminder of college years, a first home, a favorite race weekend, or simply a city that feels right. As a piece of decorative art rather than a navigation tool, it is made for a wall where it can be noticed every day, whether in a home office, a hallway or a living room. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a graduate, a runner, or anyone with roots in the Willamette Valley.
