Little Rock map poster

Little Rock sits on the south bank of the Arkansas River, at the point where the flat farmland of the Delta starts to rise toward the Ouachita foothills. It is the state capital and Arkansas's largest city. Its character comes from its older parts: the Victorian houses of the Quapaw Quarter, the brick buildings of the River Market district, and the riverfront trails that cross the water to North Little Rock on converted rail and pedestrian bridges. It is a city people tend to know street by street, whether they grew up there, went to school there, or spent a few good years there before moving on.
