Overland Park City Map Poster

About this print

Overland Park map poster

Overland Park sits in Johnson County on the Kansas side of the Kansas City metro. For a lot of people it is simply home: the place of first apartments and family houses, school pickups, weekend errands, and the drive back after a long day downtown. This print treats the city's street grid as something worth hanging on a wall, a quiet record of the roads that hold all those ordinary days together.

The Neon Night edition gives the map an after-dark mood, the kind of look that suits a city often seen through a windshield at dusk with streetlights coming on along the arterials. It reads as a piece of graphic art first. It fits a living room, a home office, or a hallway where a little color and a sense of place help. It is a decorative piece, not a navigation aid, and it is better for remembering a place than finding your way around it.

Overland Park means different things to different people. Some know it for its older downtown, with its weekend farmers market and local shops. Others think of the arboretum and botanical gardens to the south, or summer visits to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead. For many it is just the neighborhood where they grew up or settled down. This poster works as a gift for someone who has moved away and misses it, for new homeowners marking a fresh start, or for anyone who likes having their own corner of Kansas on the wall in a style that feels a bit more lively than a standard map.
