About this print

Huntsville map poster

Huntsville sits in the Tennessee Valley of northern Alabama, a city whose identity has long been tied to rockets and research. It is known as the Rocket City, home to NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, and the Saturn V rockets that helped carry astronauts toward the Moon were developed here. Alongside that story is an older one: a downtown built around a courthouse square, the spring-fed waters of Big Spring Park, and Monte Sano Mountain rising to the east of the city.
