Ontario City Map Poster

About this print

Ontario map poster

Ontario sits in the Inland Empire of Southern California, in the western reach of San Bernardino County, with the San Gabriel Mountains rising to the north on clear days. It is a city many people know first through Ontario International Airport, and one that people who live there know through its long, straight avenues and the steady rhythm of its neighborhoods. Euclid Avenue, with its broad tree-lined median, has long been one of the city's defining streets, and the grid that spreads out around it gives Ontario a character that reads well as a map.

This print presents Ontario's street network in the Brutalist edition, a bold, graphic design style that favors strong lines and a confident, architectural feel. It suits a city shaped by wide roads and orderly blocks, and it sits comfortably in a modern living room, a home office, or a hallway that could use something with a little weight to it. The style lets the structure of the place carry the piece rather than decoration.

For someone who grew up in Ontario, moved there for work, or passes through the airport often enough to feel some attachment to it, this poster is a way to keep the city close. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a friend or family member who has recently settled in the Inland Empire, or for someone who has moved away and misses the place. It is meant as decorative art for the wall, a portrait of a city's layout, and not as a guide for getting around. The size and finish options are listed on this page.
