Chicago Marathon Course Map Poster
About this print
Chicago Marathon map poster
The Chicago Marathon is a big-city race known for its flat, fast course. It begins and ends in Grant Park beside the lakefront and takes runners through a wide range of the city's neighborhoods, from the towers of the Loop to residential streets on the North, West and South Sides. Along the way it crosses the Chicago River more than once. Crowds line much of the route, and for many runners the noise of those blocks is the part they remember longest. This print turns that route into a piece of wall art, a curated RadMaps design built around the shape of the course.
For anyone who has run Chicago, the course holds specific memories: the early miles among the skyscrapers, the long push through the later neighborhoods, and the final stretch back toward the park. A print of it can mark a first marathon, a hard-earned personal best, or a race run alongside friends or family. It also suits spectators who spent the day moving between cheering spots, and Chicagoans who simply love seeing their city drawn as a single continuous line.
The poster is meant as decoration rather than a guide for getting around. It works well in a home office, a hallway, or a room where training plans and race bibs tend to collect. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a runner training for Chicago, or for one who has already crossed the finish line and wants something to remember the day by.
