About this print
Mobile map poster
Mobile sits where the Mobile River meets the head of Mobile Bay, and the city has grown around that water for centuries. It is one of the oldest cities on the Gulf Coast, shaped by French, Spanish and British rule before it became part of Alabama. Its older neighborhoods are known for live oaks draped in Spanish moss, wrought-iron balconies and blocks of historic homes. Each year the city fills with parades and costumes for Mardi Gras, a tradition Mobile has celebrated for a very long time. This print in the Classic style turns that layered, waterfront city into a piece of wall art.
For someone who grew up in Mobile, went to school there, or still calls it home, a street map can hold a lot. The grid of downtown, the roads that lead out toward the bay and the causeway, and the routes to familiar porches and parade spots all carry their own memories. It also makes a thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away from the Gulf Coast and misses the azaleas in spring and the humid evenings near the water.
The Classic edition is a visual design style with a clean, timeless look that suits living rooms, offices and entryways alike. It pairs easily with other city prints for anyone collecting the places that matter to them. As with every RadMaps poster, it is meant as decorative art rather than a guide for getting around. The available options are listed on this page.
