Plano City Map Poster

About this print

Plano map poster

Plano sits just north of Dallas in Collin County, one of the many cities that make up the sprawling Dallas–Fort Worth area. It grew from a small farming town into a large suburban city, and its layout reflects that history: a compact historic downtown surrounded by miles of planned neighborhoods, wide arterial roads, and corporate campuses spread across the gently rolling North Texas prairie. This print gathers that street grid into a single piece of wall art in the Overprint style.

For anyone who has lived in Plano, the city's shape carries a lot of everyday memory: the drive to school or the office, weekend errands, evenings in the brick-lined blocks of the old downtown, walks along creek-side trails and through parks like Arbor Hills Nature Preserve. A map of the place can hold all of that without spelling it out. It works as a quiet reminder of home for people who still live there, a keepsake for those who have moved away, or a gift for someone starting a new chapter in North Texas.

The Overprint edition is a visual design style with a bold, graphic character, and it gives the familiar outline of the city a look that suits a modern living room, a home office, or an entryway. Because the focus is on the shape of the streets rather than on detail for finding a route, the poster is meant purely as decorative art and not as a navigation aid. It pairs well with other city prints for anyone building a wall of places that matter, or it can stand on its own as a simple tribute to Plano.
