About this print
Tallahassee map poster
Tallahassee is Florida's capital, and it rarely looks like the rest of the state. Instead of flat coastline, the city sits among rolling hills in the Panhandle, with old live oaks hung with Spanish moss arching over its canopy roads. It is a government town and a college town at once, home to Florida State University and Florida A&M University. Its streets keep the rhythm of legislative sessions, game days, and long, humid summers.
This print renders Tallahassee's streets in the Brutalist style, a design language built on heavy forms, strong contrast, and a deliberate lack of ornament. The result reads as structure first, showing the city as a pattern of lines and blocks rather than a postcard view. That restraint suits a place many people know from the inside, through daily commutes, apartment moves, and walks across campus, more than from any single famous scene.
It makes a fitting piece for someone who studied at one of the city's universities, worked at the Capitol, grew up under the oaks, or spent a few good years there before moving on. As a gift, it can mark a graduation, a new job, or a farewell to a place that left an impression. Like every RadMaps poster, it is decorative art meant for a wall, not a map for finding the way across town.
