Tallahassee map poster

Tallahassee is a capital city with a softer pace than most. Set in the rolling hills of the Florida Panhandle, far from the beaches and theme parks people tend to picture, it is a place of canopy roads lined with live oaks and Spanish moss, brick campus buildings, and neighborhoods that feel settled and green. This Classic-style street map poster captures the city as a whole, giving its grid and winding roads a clean, timeless treatment that sits easily on a wall.

For many people, Tallahassee is tied to a particular chapter of life. It is home to Florida State University and Florida A&M University, so a lot of people arrive for four years and leave with memories they keep for decades: game days, late study nights, first apartments, and friendships that outlast graduation. Others know it as the seat of state government, a place of long sessions and early mornings near the Capitol. And for those who grew up here, it is simply home, with its own rhythm of seasons, festivals, and familiar drives.

The Classic style suits a city like this. It is restrained and easy to live with, the kind of design that works in a study, a hallway, or a first office after graduation. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a new graduate, a former student who still talks about their college years, or someone who has just moved away and wants a quiet reminder of where they came from. As decorative art, it is meant to be looked at and remembered by, not used to find a way across town.
