Tallahassee City Map Poster

About this print

Tallahassee map poster

Tallahassee is Florida's capital, a city that feels different from the beaches and theme parks most people picture when they think of the state. It sits in the north, closer to Georgia than to Miami, with rolling hills, live oaks draped in Spanish moss, and canopy roads that tunnel through the shade. It is also a college town, home to Florida State University and Florida A&M University, so its streets carry the rhythm of game days, graduations, and the steady turnover of students who arrive, stay a few years, and often keep a piece of the place with them long after they leave.

This street map poster captures Tallahassee in the Painted Survey style, a visual design that gives the city's grid and winding roads a soft, layered look. It suits a living room, a home office, or a dorm wall, and it works as quietly as it does boldly depending on the space around it. For anyone who grew up here, studied here, worked in state government, or simply spent a memorable stretch of life in the city, a map like this is a way to keep a familiar place close.

It also makes a thoughtful gift for a graduate heading out into the world, a couple who met in town, or someone settling into a new home nearby. The poster is meant as decorative art rather than a guide for getting around, a reminder of where things happened more than a tool for finding the way.
